While many Rammstein supporters are still devoted to the band, some have already abandoned them. Till Lindemann, the band’s vocalist, is currently dealing with the first business repercussions as a result of revelations regarding the most recent claims.

The 60-year-old’s book “In stillen Nächten,” which contains about 100 of his poems, plays a part in this. It was released in 2013 by Kiepenheuer & Witsch, and Lindemann most likely will not publish another book with the Cologne-based publisher after this one.

Kiepenheuer & Witsch, the publisher of Till Lindemann`s book has immediately terminated the cooperation with the Rammstein singer and released the following statement:

“PRESS RELEASE

We have been shocked by the accusations against Till Lindemann that have become public in recent days. Our sympathy and respect goes to the affected women.

In the course of the current reporting, we have become aware of a porn video in which Till Lindemann celebrates sexual violence against women and in which the book “In stillen Nächten”, published by Kiepenheuer & Witsch in 2013, plays a role. We consider this to be a gross breach of trust and a reckless act towards the values we as a publishing house represent.

We defend the freedom of art with full conviction. However, through Till Lindemann’s humiliating acts towards women in the said porno and the targeted use of our book in a pornographic context, the separation between the “lyrical I” and the author/artist, which we defend so ironically, is mocked by the author himself.

From our point of view, Till Lindemann crosses immutable boundaries in his dealings with women. We have therefore decided to terminate our cooperation with Till Lindemann with immediate effect, as our relationship of trust with the author is incurably broken.
