This year’s festival will feature an exciting lineup of new artists from Korea, Taiwan, China, and Japan, promising an eclectic mix of sounds and styles.
One of the most highly anticipated performances will be by Korean composer Jung Jaeil, best known for his work on the soundtracks of Squid Game and Parasite. Jung Jaeil will be performing with the Janáček Philharmonic Ostrava, creating a breathtaking musical experience. Another major highlight of the festival will be the Czech debut of DPR IAN, a multifaceted artist known for his genre-blending sound.
DPR IAN, co-founder of Dream Perfect Regime, is known for his cinematic music that explores mental health and bipolar disorder. His work often incorporates alter egos, blending music with striking visuals.
His latest music video, “Limbo,” delves into The Other Side realm, portraying IAN as The Hybrid, caught between his two personas—MITO (manic lows) and Mr. Insanity (manic highs). The song reflects his struggle to find his true self, torn between these powerful alter egos, ultimately questioning whether he can ever exist as just IAN.
