Tom Barber (Vocals):
Tom Barber was born on December 11, 1992, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Barber’s journey into the world of music began at a young age. Growing up, he was drawn to the aggressive and intense sound of metal music. He honed his vocal skills and developed a deep passion for the genre.
Tom Barber’s first major breakthrough came with his involvement in the band Lorna Shore. His guttural growls and piercing screams added a new dimension to the band’s music, making them stand out in the deathcore scene. With Barber at the helm, Lorna Shore released the critically acclaimed “Flesh Coffin” in 2017.

Gary Herrera (Bass):
Gary Herrera was born on August 2, 1991, in the United States. He is 32 years old (2023).
As one of the founding members and former bassist of Lorna Shore, his journey in the music industry has been both intriguing and influential.
Gary Herrera left Lorna Shore in 2017. He cited a lack of interest in the music as the reason for his departure.
Austin Archey (Drums):

CJ McCreery (2018-2019)
In late 2019, a series of accusations emerged against McCreery, which brought to light a disturbing pattern of behavior. One of McCreery’s former girlfriends provided substantial evidence, including text messages, to support allegations of abuse.
Following her lead, several other former girlfriends also came forward, sharing their own accounts of mistreatment and abuse at his hands. In response to these grave allegations, Lorna Shore took swift action, immediately severing ties with McCreery and making it clear that he would not be reinstated.
Connor Deffley (2015-2019)
Connor Deffley was the band’s guitarist from 2015 to 2019. In 2019 he announced his departure from the band without giving details. Both sides thanked each other with messages shared on social media.

Formation and Early Days of Lorna Shore
Formed in 2010 in New Jersey, Lorna Shore’s founding members are Tom Barber, Adam De Micco, Gary Herrera, and drummer Austin Archey. Lorna Shore’s first recording success was not easy to achieve after the formation of the band and it was achieved with a lot of hard work and dedication from the band members.
Lorna Shore released their debut EP Triumph on October 8, 2010, a few months after their formation. On February 16, 2012, their second EP, Bone Kingdom, was released. The band was not signed to a label at the time of preparing these two EPs and paid all the costs for the EPs themselves.
These two EPs started to attract the attention of music producers and Lorna Shore had meetings with many labels. Among them was Density Records. The band signed with Density Records on February 14, 2014, and the band’s third EP Maleficium was released on March 18, 2014.
The first stage experiences of Lorna Shore
After the third EP, Lorna Shore made its first serious stage performances. From 2014 to 2015, the band played as the opening act for many bands such as Upon a Burning Body, Within the Ruins, and Fallujah.
During this time, they did not only perform as a front band. They performed with many bands such as The Black Dahlia Murder and Oceano. The first concert of Lorna Shore occurred on April 3, 2015, as part of the Ascendants Album Release Tour by Oceano.

American Deathcore band Lorna Shore released their debut album Psalms on June 9, 2015. The band worked on the album with veteran producer Will Putney, who has worked with many famous bands.
Lorna Shore’s first European tour took place in October and November 2015. The band also opened Carnifex.
The band’s second European tour took place in January 2016 and this time Lorna Shore opened for Aversions Crown and Rings of Saturn. In 2016, the band signed a record deal with Outerloop Records and decided to work with producer Carson Slovak for their next album.
Lorna Shore’s second album Flesh was released on February 17, 2017. The doors were slowly opening for the band and it was concert after concert, tour after tour. The band toured North America for two months with Carnifex, Despised Icon, Fallujah, and deathcore bands like She Must Burn and Rings of Saturn.
